A themed wedding dress not only expresses your individuality, but it’s also a way to highlight your special day in a unique way that ensures your guests will never forget it. Planning any wedding is fun, but a theme wedding adds an extra element of excitement to the festivities. Your wedding will be much more entertaining than a traditional ceremony, and your guests will talk about it for years to come. And of course they’ll also always remember your themed wedding dress! After you decide you want a themed wedding, you will need to choose your theme, of course. Start by daydreaming about your ideal wedding. What kinds of themes appeal to you when you allow yourself to imagine anything you want?

Here are some ideas that might give you some inspiration. A theme based on the season when your wedding takes place lets you use easy-to-find seasonal decorations. For a fall wedding, you could use motifs such as autumn leaves, apples, and pumpkins. If you’re planning a winter wedding, think about December when you’ll be able to take advantage of the holiday decorations that will probably be adorning the reception location you choose.

Medieval Themed Wedding Dress

Wedding dresses with a medieval theme have become so popular today, that there are designers who devote their efforts to creating masterpieces in this specific fashion. Dresses from popular designers are often available to view on the internet. Why not take some time and browse around for that perfect dress to set off your medieval theme.

The classic medieval style of wedding dress is slim fitting - flaring out to fullness at the hem. A girdle or corset is generally worn above the hips and laced in front. The sleeves are generally tight to the wrist with a shorter open sleeve cascading to hem level. These wedding dresses with a medieval theme usually have elaborate embroidery and are even available with gold stitching. These are some of the most beautiful wedding gowns available.

Beach Wedding Dress

The beach wedding dress is a playful wedding dress with a touch of romance and elegance. The wedding dress is cool enough to handle the summer heat, hot, and humid climate. Since the beach is more of a laid-back atmosphere, the beach wedding dress is less formal.

The common designs are halter, strapless top, or sleeveless wedding dress. In a hot summer days, it helps cool down the bride. As there are opportunities to go barefoot, the bride wears elegant flip flops, beach sandals, or strap sandals. Even though the wedding dress is more relax, casual, and informal, the bride still must feel special, beautiful, and sexy with the wedding dress. The wedding dress sets the tone for the whole day.

Casual Wedding Dresses

With the rise in popularity of casual wedding dresses, you can now find them from many sources. It’s not unusual now for bridal salons to include informal gowns in their inventory. Tons of information and outlets are available online, and sewing your own dress is also an option of course.

Remember, wherever you choose to look for casual wedding dresses, a theme wedding will require a dress of a specific type. Think about what sort of clothing you would wear to another type of event with a similar theme. An English Royalty themed wedding would lend itself to clothing and accessories that are very formal, for example. But if nature is going to be highlighted in your wedding plans, you may want to purchase a less formal dress.

Short skirts, are what you might call a ‘clubbing uniform.’ This may seem strange in the cold season, but it’s quite the opposite. Even when winter is at its peak everyone is wearing short skirts. However, a miniskirt is more than a fashion statement-it’s a declaration of youth and independence. In fact, the history of the miniscule garment is intriguing. Though we tend to associate sixties fashion with short skirts, the mini was not worn by many until 1966. The precursor of the mini dress was the straight shift, which developed from the 1957 sack dress, and was well below the knee. In 1966, couturier Mary Quant introduced the first short shift dress. Inspired by the Mini Cooper automobile, Quant was at the pinnacle of her fame when she created the micro-mini.

The miniskirt made frequent appearances over the decades; in the eighties it was part of the punk and power-suit movement. Even the most conservative designers raised hemlines drastically. Minis were not seasonal attire any longer; in winter they were worn over leotards. In fact, women wore minis with ruffled tops, sweaters, and even T-shirts- and looked good.

Mini skirts have transformed and liberated women’s fashion to a considerable extent! Mini skirts are in much demand as they along with high heel shoes enable a woman to appear taller and thinner. The claim is supported by researchers who do feel that the short length coupled with high heel shoes really enhances the height of a woman and enable her to appear thinner. The advent of mini skirt is attributed to the renowned fashion designer of England, Mary Quant.

Usually these fashionable pieces of cloth are so much short in size that necessitates the need to wear another piece of cloth underneath. To compensate for the short length of mini skirts and feel comfortable women often wear them with legging or hot pants underneath.

School Skirts

Short school skirts are passé. Following the release of the hit music video featuring pop singer Britney Spears in a micro-mini school skirt, hemlines of school skirts crept up to what many consider to be improper levels. This caused the Scottish Parent Teacher Council to clamp down heavily on retail stores selling miniscule school skirts and subsequently, the sale of school skirts decreased. In 2002, Woolworth’s, which sells 10 per cent of the school wear in Scotland, sold 200,000 school skirts and just 4,000 pairs of girls’ trousers. But this year, the store has sold 104,000 pairs of trousers and 100,000 skirts.

For those who continue to wear school skirts but prefer a more conservative style, Modest Apparel USA is working on a reticent skirt for school uniforms. This school skirt is double pleated, and has a back zipper; side inseam pockets, and covers the knee when sitting.

A short miniskirt is not for everyone. The younger you are, the more appropriate a short skirt might be. Sometimes short skirts expose parts of a woman’s body that just shouldn’t be exposed! If you aren’t able to sit down, or bend down, without showing your panties, the skirt is just too short for you. Also, even though the skirt might fit you well, if you are older, especially if you are a mom, your skirt should not be as short as a junior high school student. At the knee or lower is better for women over 30. Even if you have nice legs, covering them just a little can look more attractive than exposing them completely.

Punk fashion has been gaining speed in popularity, for years. “Punk fashion” as it is referred to, is the style of dress within the punk subculture. When music of punk was established in the early nineteen seventies, it was inevitable for the clothes to follow. The Punk fashion, tend to be a more rebellious and shocking style, while it seems to be a far cry from the punk fashion of the here and now. While we try to emulate the lost fashion of the past, unfortunately there are no true means to bring back the original punk genre.

From designers like Vivienne Westwood, who helped to influence the punk fashion at the time. Such as famous punk icons, like the Ramones. From tattered tees, vulgar clothing, simple things such as the anarchy symbols, controversial images, studded jackets, and patches were all the rage.

Common people following different fashion becomes an item of criticism anywhere and are look down upon as weird creature but when a hit song comes out and the same fashion is followed by the performer it has a totally different insight. Even the criticizers start following the same suit and also consider getting a similar suit of their own. There are a number of notable sensational artists who are easily identified with punk and rock music that are not only making waves in the music industry but also raising storms in the world of fashion. Especially teenagers like to take inspirations from these rock stars and pamper them with such ideology.

Punk Hair

Punk hair cuts are varied in length and all around craziness. Of course, we all are aware of the infamous mohawk. This is classic punk style at its finest. Mohawks can be liberty spikes, short spikes or even one big fanned out piece of greatness. This style requires time, patience and a lot of hairspray or glue, but it is worth it. The alter mohawk would be the style known as a fauxhawk. This style works in conservative arenas. It can combed down to look normal and spiked when the time is right. It is not really punk, but it can work, plus you do not have to shave off so much hair. Remember punk hair styles can be long on one side and short on the other, or spiked out to death. Punk is an expression of creativity and you make it your own.

Hairstyles For Long Hairs

Women have always tried various styles on their long haircuts. Some of the tools like sedu iron, dryer, crimping machine, etc. aid them to style their hair at home. They need not go a parlor or a stylist every time before going for a party or wedding. Some of the most popular long hairstyles for women are straight, curls, waves and layers. Long curly hairstyles are the best to go with any occasion. They need lots of maintenance, as hair tends to become dry and frizzy. Hair gems, hair accessories and hair pins can be used on curly hairs as adornment. If the curls are large, one can even try for layered hairstyle.

Hairstyles for Prom

Prom night is the most awaited night for all the teenagers. They dream a different look, a unique personality and an elegant hairstyle with flawless attire. Prom hair is the major concern for most of the females. To choose the best prom hairstyles that complement the prom dress, personality and the mood of the night is a big chore. The hairstyle should go with the prom theme as well. Every prom night has a theme that ties together all the aspects of the prom. Prom themes are diverse and play a vital role in the selection of prom dress and prom hairstyles.

The type of foundation to use, always select the one that will give you a flawless smooth skin that you don’t have to put anymore layers of cosmetics. Numerous brands are now being produce for different foundation types on different skin types. There are even classes of foundation that are allergy-tested and hypoallergenic for those who have skin allergies.

Pad foundations are used to support an individual point load such as that due to a structural column. They may be circular, square or reactangular. They usually consist of a block or slab of uniform thickness, but they may be stepped or haunched if they are required to spread the load from a heavy column. Pad foundations are usually shallow, but deep pad foundations can also be used.

Family Foundations : receive endowments from individuals or families. Family foundations show measurable donor or donor-family involvement, especially though participation on the foundation’s board of directors (e.g. Turner Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund).

Liquid Foundations: A thin film of liquid foundation is best for ‘natural look’ makeup and is most commonly used by women for daily purposes. It is easy to apply and is not easily visible. It comes in oil-based formulas for people with dry to normal skin and water-based formulas for people with oily skin. It is very important to match the foundation to your natural face complexion and the tone of your color. Most of the foundations come in pink-based, orange-based and yellow-based formulas. Yellow base is said to fit most of the women and is thus, very popular.

Cream foundation is another type of foundation that most women used. It comes in compacts and sticks. It is also the first choice among makeup artists as it gives a flawless smooth look and helps cover skin imperfections. Likewise, cream foundations are very easy to apply.

Powder foundations are the best method for those who have no time or only few minutes for doing makeup. One who wants to do quick makeup should use cream to powder foundations or dual active powder foundations. One can use this type of foundation as powder or cream and give a look as dry fresh-face. People who have oily or greasy skin use powder foundation.

Minerals are the latest thing in makeup. Their popularity has come about in part due to the fact that the foundation has very few ingredients, and those being inert minerals, tend to be perfect for people with allergies or sensitive skin. Brush on minerals with a big, puffy brush, building up layers of nearly-invisible powder. Advertised as a “soft-focus” look, mineral makeup has been compared with the airbrush in creating a flawless appearance.

Coil Spring or Box Spring: This foundation features a heavy-duty spring coil system to support the mattress. If the springs match the mattress it is called a coil upon coil box spring. The coils are made of a heavy-gauge wire to help absorb impact to the mattress. The coil spring foundation provides good support and a softer feel than the more basic foundations but reasearch has shown that boxsprings move too much and cause some innerspring mattresses to sag prematurely. Most mattress manufacturers have switched to a rigid foundation (see Modular Grid below) making mattresses last longer. For more information on coils and guages, see Coils and Guages.

Punk tattoos are most frequently colourful and are located on highly visible parts of the body, including the head and face. Tattoo imagery is a mosaic of borrowed symbols and icons from various cultures and subcultures: skulls, dragon Asian and tribal designs, biker elements, literal tattoos, anti-establishment tattoos, punk and music icons and animals.

Punk tattoos belong to a culture which flourished in the 1970s in America and in Britain as well. It is based on non-conform appearance from the point of view of clothing, hairstyle, tattoos and jewelry.

Mens fashion can be everlasting using permanent and classic styles. The aim of this website is to provide concisive information on mens fashion, mens clothing and mens accessories.

Short guys should avoid cuffed trousers, long suit jackets, and loud patterns. You don’t want to bring attention to your smaller stature. Pinstripes and other stripes (but not too bold) and dark solid colors are your best bet since they visually lengthen the body. Also, two and three buttoned suits with long lapels will give you a flattering, longer silhouette. And remember, when buttoning your suit leave the top button on two and three button suits undone since this will give the illusion of being taller. When it comes to ties, avoid Windsor and double Windsor knots – in other words stick with small knots. This will help you avoid looking like a kid.

Fashion seems as though it’s a more important issue for women, but the fashion of casual clothing is actually a more important issue for guys. Think about it, when was the last time you thought, “That purse is ugly. I’d never sleep with her.” But women look at men everyday and think, “He looks like a dork. I hope he doesn’t talk to me.” And that dork might be you. Your clothing has everything to do with whether or not you get your foot in the door—and that’s the first step in getting other parts of you in other places.

Black or navy suit with a slight sheen or tone on tone.White, cream or pale blue shirt preferable with French cuffs, Never, never wear short sleeves or button down collars.Tie with small pattern or plain, tastefully coordinated. Well shined black leather shoes with coordinated black leather belt. Jewellery that is elegant and not ostentatious.

Men’s fashion should still retain at least some vague semblance of practicality, and of not being so vapidly affected — lest one look like a clown. Additionally, a look so entirely contrived rarely stands the test of time, and is hardly usable for the vast majority out there.

The fashions worn on university campuses were copied by men in society, rather than the other way around. 1920s men’s clothing on campus was no longer merely a suit. Young men in America took inspiration from those in the UK and wore “Oxford bags” as their trouser of choice. These were high-waisted trousers with legs as wide as 36 inches, and so long they dragged on the ground. They might be matched with a V-neck sweater in a Fair Isle pattern or something similar, which showed off the very popular bow tie.

Looking good can make a very real difference to your life. As any successful business leader will tell you looking the part in corporate life can give your career opportunities a significant boost and, from a personal and social perspective, wearing the right clothes and accessories will make the right impression on both your friends and on members of the opposite sex!

The tie is extremely important, since it is the first thing someone notices in a man’s outfit. An all-over, neat pattern, a small dot or a classic stripe all work well. Avoid anything wild, overly bright or statement-making. For example, a bow tie is out of the question — even if this is your style, save it for later. Forget pocket squares. And minimize jewelry. Certainly wear a watch, but not a sporty running watch or a Rolex.
