Punk Tattoos

Punk tattoos are most frequently colourful and are located on highly visible parts of the body, including the head and face. Tattoo imagery is a mosaic of borrowed symbols and icons from various cultures and subcultures: skulls, dragon Asian and tribal designs, biker elements, literal tattoos, anti-establishment tattoos, punk and music icons and animals.

Punk tattoos belong to a culture which flourished in the 1970s in America and in Britain as well. It is based on non-conform appearance from the point of view of clothing, hairstyle, tattoos and jewelry. Punks have created their own universe; they have obeyed their own rules and they have not been interested in what other normal people could say about them.

Punk tattoos are a chaos and rebellion against dullness. Usually they are large placed on arms, back, legs in black and grey color. Colors as red or yellow showing off fierce and rebel are mostly used.Most of teens and young men and women go for punk tattoos depicting sacrifice, torture, wars and other images. Those with punk tattoos are considered against society and doesn’t generally socialize.

Body piercing usually refers to the piercing of a part of the human body for the purpose of wearing jewelery in the opening created. Body piercing is a form of body modification. The word “piercing” can refer to the act or practice of body piercing, or to a specific pierced opening in the body. Tattooing is a design in ink or some other pigment, usually decorative or symbolic, placed permanently under the skin. In technical terms, tattooing is micro-pigment implantation. Tattoos are a type of body modification.

A tattoo used to be a permanent and irreversible adornment to one’s skin. However, in recent years dermasurgeons have developed safe and effective techniques to successfully remove unwanted tattoos. Dermabrasion. The tattoo area is chilled until numb, and the skin that contains the tattoo is sanded down to deeper levels. This generally isn’t painful, but it may leave a scar. Surgical removal. A doctor can surgically cut out the tattoo and stitch the edges back together, but this can leave a scar.

Tattoo inks are classified as cosmetics, so they aren’t regulated or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The pigments and dyes used in tattoo inks aren’t approved for injection under the skin. Long-term effects of these are unknown.

Specific risks of tattoos include: Blood-borne diseases. If the equipment used to create your tattoo is contaminated with the blood of an infected person, you can contract a number of serious blood-borne diseases. These include hepatitis C, hepatitis B, tetanus, tuberculosis and HIV — the virus that causes AIDS. Skin disorders. Your body may form bumps called granulomas around tattoo ink, especially if your tattoo includes red ink. Tattooing can also cause areas of raised, excessive scarring (keloids), if you’re prone to them.

Temporary tattoos, such as those applied to the skin with a moistened wad of cotton, fade several days after application. Most contain color additives approved for cosmetic use on the skin. However, the agency has issued an import alert for certain foreign-made temporary tattoos.
